I totally agree; even though I obviously would want Drouin to win, or even Duffy, Jaskin has shown himself since Christmas to be the best player in the league.
Let's not allow age to play a factor, the best player is just the best player.

I would tend to agree with that.........if you take into consideration, coming over from Europe, getting used to a new style of game here......having a rookie Euro as a linemate, plus Durelle, who has now been cut.......on top of that he is still in the race, when he did the vast majority of the work on that line.......I think if he had Danault with him all season, the race wouldn't even be in question.

Absolutely, and to be honest, Danault > MacKinnon as of late IMO. So even talking about who has who as a linemate can be a pretty grey area. This league is what it is, there's no best 17 year old as opposed to best 19 year old. Rookies are the exception, but a top three pick like Drouin and Jaskin are in the same conversation. Therefore, just makes sense that one has to be better than the other.

That being said, I would expect Drouin to be the better player, once they both are in the pros for a few years.......Jaskin has the physical/size thing on Drouin, but Drouin sees the ice/play/future phenomenally and I think that will benefit him greatly in the pros.
