The series seems to favour Victo right now with 3 of their next 4 games being played at home. So the Cats HAVE to win tonight. If it we're up to me, I'd keep keep Veilleux out with Jaskin and Danault rather than Barbashev, Victo tightly checked the Cats top line last night and I think Veilleux could be a more a physical presence and open up some room for the other two. They'll be disappointed and hungry after last nights loss, 5-3 Moncton.

I'm thinking last night was a bit of a wakeup call for Moncton.......I'm expecting a blowout in favor of the Wildcats tonight.

certainly not a blow out but unreal 58 shots to 28 and only score 3, they need to come out in game 3 and win big to gain the confidence for the following 2 games.. if they out flat i am afraid they could be done in the first round

If it takes OT and a powerplay to beat them at home, it won't be an easy job to beat them on the road. I was expecting a 7-2 game for Moncton tonight, but Victo almost pulled it out. They are doing good at neutralizing Jaskin.

They are doing a good job of neutralizing Jaskin and it's throwing him off his game as well. He looks frustrated but he also looks slow....in fact a lot of the team appears to be in slow motion sometimes. They absolutely need to solve Whitney. He's been the difference so far...there are some who suggest that we are making him "look good" and while that may be the case to a certain extent (lots of shots to the logo, etc..) he's made some very solid saves as well, as opposed to Dubeau who has been mediocre at best. Victo's "D" as a whole has looked very tough and heading to Victo is not going to be easy given our rode woes. The Cats may have won game 2, but they still need to kick it up a notch if they are going to pull this off. Victo has won more races to the puck as the Cats have looked slow thus far . Victo is a TOUGH first round opponent.

Victoriaville is stronger than a typical 11th place team......they played in a division all season with Baie Comeau, Quebec, and Rimouski, and still came out with 32 wins, and played over .500.....Whitney has been the difference for them all season, and only got better once they got rid of Vance and Danaulth....their record after that was incredible. I would bet, if they were in the Telus West division, they would have been fighting with Blainville for top spot and wouldn't have traded those guys away.
