I'm not the biggest Saint John fan, but I am a Q fan, and love watching players graduate to the next level.............I haven't followed Huberdeau much since he went up, but got curious when looking at a few highlights the other day(shootouts).......what I see, is that Florida's GM was right at bringing him up........he is 2nd in team scoring with 8 points after 12 games, only behind Tomas Fleischmann who has 10 points..........he also leads the team with 5 goals. Very impressive for a 19 year old.

Huberdeau is one of those "special" players that as Q fans we get to enjoy. While we see handfuls of players graduate to that next level, few will have the same sort of impact that a Huberdeau will have....guys like Drouin, MacKinnon, and Jaskin are a few of the next ones that we will get to enjoy in that same regard...meaning not only will they make it, they seemingly have what it takes to be impact players. This is not to suggest that the others who make it should not be any less proud of their accomplishments. Anyone who has the skills, talent and drive to make it should be pretty damn happy. I love checking in on all former Q players but my point is that Hubie is really of that "high end" calibre. I'm certainly not surprised to see the success he is enjoying thus far.

Was Rookie of the Month in the NHL for February and scored both goals in a 3-2 losing cause last night.
