Hey guys, just stopping by to give a post-trading period Halifax perspective! And it's incredibly easy since basically nothing has changed! I think Halifax should win tonight, I'm not exactly holding hope onto Vuic, but new signing Phillipe Gadoury (from the CCHL) should provide a little depth (essentially replacing Leblanc? or maybe C.Moynihan if there's a backlog at centre). I like that Bathurst posters are more prevalent here, they tend to make things more interesting on the other board (at least from most Halifax posters' perspectives ). Even though Fucale hasn't had an amazing year thus far, I miss him compared to Darveau. I was in Moncton before Christmas watching the Cats vs. Moose and Darveau was shaky. And he's not a starting goalie in the Q, and that's been proven through the better part of these 3+ weeks. Neither were Daigle 2 years ago or Clarke last year, but this year's team is also less deep than both of those teams. Anyways, rambling done. While I'm disappointed the Moose stood pat at the deadline, this team has the potential to make noise come playoff time, and could win 2 rounds. However, compared to BB and especially BC (and probably Gat and maybe RIM), we're not there IMO. Tonight, 4-3 Moose in front of 8300!
