anything on Boivin? Maybe some of your guys who understand French could give us an update of what was said in the Acadie Nouvelle. In the after match interview with Pouliot, it was told that Boivin could be back this Friday and that his recovery went well. He had a strained ankle a couple of games in the season, came back and reinjured it in practice and has been off since.... Confirmed in this morning's AN - he will be in the line-up tonight against Quebec

Bottom line! We need better management. We can have Steve, Rene,Darrell,Serge ,etc.,thanks that we do,but we need a GM and coach who has experience as a head coach ,and Sylvain has to take some training from Saint John, who go into a one, two, year rebuilding mode and still always being competetive by always adding a few free agents every year. The bottom line is management. The diehard fans have been taking it for to many years.

The bottom line is management. The diehard fans have been taking it for to many years. The bottom line is that you have a clear agenda! SJ can attract FAs as they wish to do and so can Moncton and Halifax. Bathurst is in a different ball game where we hardly can attract our 1st and 2nd round picks heading NCAA.... If you did not yet understand the hardship of conducting business in a small market, you are hopeless to me. We do have people with junior hockey knowledge right here doing their best with the tools they have. However yes our rebuild will be slower than some big markets....it is a fact....an understandable one. Also I would like to point two fiascos totally independent of Couturier inherited by the new ownership: 1- Brennan's NTC clause was negociated with LGM.....it ended up losing McDonald for picks and getting stuck with Brennan like they are now.... 2- Brouillard trade fiasco where LGM himself insisted in acquiring him contrary to Sly's advice. It ended up losing him for nothing as an OA and losing Lalancette and Fiore along the way. Rebuild ended up that much harder.

1- they should have kept McDonald, and sat Brennan half the games as we were going nowhere last year. Why would a number 1 goaltender, which Brennan is not , want to stay with a last place team. He is to inconsistent.2-They hire another asst. coach, who probably has junior knowledge, but was still an assistant coach. Sylvain has good knowledge, but it,s time for you to let Leo Guy go . You are the one that is hopeless to me. Sylvain can stand up for himself.

JFK, if you were at the game tonight, and you were watching, you can see why we are at the bottom of the league. We have a player who has played against the best players in the country , Andrew Ryan, and if you can honestly tell me that we do not have a problem with coaching and management, you must have been a good bamington player. The elite players do not want to play with the Titan .

He is coasting at best since the beginning of the season as was Oke and Beauchemin last year; they ended up being scratches most of the games after Christmas(Beauchemin) and being non factors like Oke, an average OA. The same can be said of Chapman who was not even retained as an OA this season by Quebec and who they could not even trade for picks. IMO Ryan could get us a 3rd-4th round pick by a contender needing an OA.....this is an average return for a decent OA who surely is not "elite"....

We can notoriously see that our best players right now are Titan players from the beginning: Boivin Blanchard Kerr A. Gosselin Brisebois Maher
Simpson(for whom the Titan was the first team to give him a real chance); Dumulong and Latulippe are in the same situation.. These guys will come out every game and give their best These guys will be the core next season.... Spare parts from other teams are the real problem....
We need an identity and a roster built up from within, something the new ownership is trying to achieve; but the start was filled with hardship trying to create a new image and inheriting the old.....

Maher is 16.....nobody expects 100 points from him this year. lol He is progressing and that's all that matters for this season.

Andrew Ryan wasn't an elite guy for Halifax nor even close to it.....he was a very good 3rd liner for them, but nothing more. the problem definitely lies with management, but not because Ryan isn't playing well.....more so for thinking that he could suddenly turn into a top line player, when he never was and never will be. I don't think coaching has been a problem with this team for the last couple years at all.....they can only do so much with the talent they are given.

Andrew Ryan is FAR from being an elite player. He gives maybe 50% during games, coasts most of the time, doesn't show the "want" of being there. It's players like him who need to step up tremendously and be the leader they are suppose to be. Same goes for Corriveau, yes they are starting to pick up some points, but its going to take a lot more then just a few goals and an assist to get the team some more wins.
something also has to be done with the D, 38 points between all D, 17 coming from Gosselin alone. The other D need to step up and start contributing some points, for someone like Brisdbois who is referred to as an Erik Karlsson in Ottawa, isn't quite living up to the hype he was said to be.
really hope for a few more wins, and maybe a chance to make it to the playoffs.
any thoughts of what will happen during Christmas trading period ?? who do you think you will see go, and what do you think they will try and get?

JFK,nobody said that Andrew Ryan was an elite player but you. I said that he played against the best players in the country, he also played against them with the best team. He is far from an elite player.Read the Nov. 7 comment and look and see where if I said he was.
