Leafs looking to keep it going. There down 2-1 after two periods against Tampa Bay. Need a big third period, Go Leafs Go! they didn't get the big 3rd......quite the opposite.......it went downhill right from the time Schrivens took the tripping penalty. Yep , 4-2 final

Brian Burke was hired by the Anaheim Ducks as a scout. I figured he'd take whatever job came up first. Wouldn't be surprised to see him return as a GM as soon as next season, not nessarily with Anaheim.

Leafs clash with the Sabres tonight! Lupul , Reimer , Frattin and Orr all out. To bad we won't get to see Orr vs. Scott round 2 I heard John Scott's sigh of relief earlier.

Leafs with another very good game...........Schrivens with a great bounce back game, after being pulled last one......31 saves in a 3-1 win.....great to see him playing so well with Reimer out. Phaneuf with a nice slapper for his 100th career goal...........my favorite thing and most positive thing about the season so far, is the way James van Riemsdyk has played......11 goals so far and fitting in very nice...... I can't wait to see this team with a full lineup.......Lupul and Frattin should only add to things... It's nice, although Montreal isn't my favorite, to see the 3 Canadian teams in this conference, on top, or just 2 points off the lead........Montreal 24 points....Toronto/Ottawa tied with 22.

I was actually just thinking this; it's been a rare occurrence the last...10 years? I can't even remember the last time.....it's been a while. Ottawa had success around 02-03 and during their finals run against Anaheim in 2007, Toronto had sporadic success during the Joseph years, and Montreal has had one good playoff run since '93, and that was sort of a fluke with a goalie who is no longer with the team.

Can't win em all. Tonight was the kind of game that we miss Lupul and Frattin. The secondary scoring just wasn't there. Give Ottawa credit they played a good game and rolled all four lines. They're depth players really stepped it up in this one.

Leafs getting ready for another clash with the Habs in a few minutes..........what do you think of Komisarek still being a healthy scratch.....they are wasting him up there, especially with his salary.....put him on the ice in the 5/6 spot at least, or give him the option of a trade.....horrible waste.

man....Montreal is taking it to them tonight....too bad they don't have to skill to actually put the puck in the net, or this lead could be ugly.
