Officiating matched that of the Wildcat vs. Rimouski. Can't blame it all on them thought , MTL played well. after all the crap that happened, and was talked about, after the last game, Montreal came to play and got their "revenge"....Toronto just wasn't ready to match that. I still can't wait for Frattin and Lupul to get back in the lineup.....having the tough guys playing a regular shift is also hurting the team, when they usually have their spots picked for them......missing 2 top 6 guys is huge.....they have played well in spite of that, but it will be nice to ice a full lineup.

One could argue 3 of their top 6 players with Reimer being injured as well. He's likely returning tonight though.

As a Leafs fan I have been truly disappointed in Phil the Thrills game play( I think I just threw up in my mouth) 95% of his shots are bad angle.. You never see him go to the net, stop on a dime to try and get the puck back, he disquises his back checking, In my opinion I would be happy if he got traded for the right return.

I'm thinking you might see Komisarek traded also for a good solid forward.

Toronto leading New Jersey 1-0 . Kadri with the goal, MacArthur&Komarov with the assists. Reimer in net. No Frattin who was a game time decision. Another PP coming up ...

Another PP coming up ... it will be nice to get Frattin and Lupul back.......Komarov is playing in a spot in the top 6 where he doesn't belong.....4 points playing on a line with Kadri, who is leading the team, doesn't make sense.

A great finish to the game for the Leafs last night......winning 4-2...it's good that Reimer also came back and seems like he never missed a beat........getting Lupul and Frattin back at this point of the short season will be just like pulling off a major trade at the deadline. I hope they can only get better with them back.

Leafs lock up Korbian Holzer with a 2 year / 1.575 mil contract today. Great deal by Nonis. I expect Komisarek to be moved within the next few days. Likely destinations ; NYI , DET or EDM.

Great comeback for Toronto tonight against Pittsburgh.......TO was the better team for most of the 2nd and the entire 3rd period and OT....a tough one to lose in the shutout, but a good game entertainment wise.

are the Leafs starting their usual slump, that moves them out of a playoff spot? They are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games.......it will be nice to get the whole team healthy. sounds a bit like I've saying about the Titan all season....lol

Toronto trade Nicholas Deschamps to Washington in exchange for defenceman Kevin Marshall. This trade likely indicates Gardiner is getting called up. Kostka also left practice this morning and Liles took his spot.
